Anti-Gov’t Feminist group at Democracy Monument

Bangkok, Thailand – October 9, 2021 : The Feminist Liberation Group and their allies staged a “car mob” procession from Silom road to Democracy Monument which they draped with a large rainbow cloth and then called for constitutional amendments and for Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha to step down.

The protesters headed for the Democracy Monument from Silom road at 4 p.m. and once there, after covering the monument with the large rainbow cloth, their leaders gave speeches voicing their demands. There were also other activities during this demonstration with participants waving rainbow flags and many of them wearing flashy clothes and masks.
