Bangkok, Thailand - January 22, 1968 : At Don Mueang Air Force Airport, King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit welcome Iran's Emperor Shah Pahlavi and Queen Farah. The Iranian Emperor and Queen greeted important Thai delegations including Prime Minister Marshal Thanom Kittikachorn and Deputy Prime Minister General Praphas Charusathien. Then, King Bhumibol Adulyadej led the Emperor of Iran to the podium to receive respects from the national guard soldiers before proceeding to the airport lounge to greet the delegation.
