Thaksin Shinawatra’s first day as prime minister at the government house

Thaksin Shinawatra  is a Thai businessman, politician and visiting professor. He served in the Thai Police from 1973 to 1987, and was the 23rd Prime Minister of Thailand from 2001 to 2006. After being ousted from power, he was found guilty of corruption in 2008 and is now living in self-exile.
