Phra Pradaeng Songkran Festival in 1967

Samut Prakan, Thailand - April 16, 1967 : The Songkran Festival of Mon-Thais at Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan Province is a big annual event that is important to the villagers. On the streets, cars and people enjoy playing in the water, where water is thrown in plastic bags. An interesting play is Saba, which is a traditional traditional play of the Phra Pradaeng people that has been around for a long time and is played at Songkran festivals every year. There are a lot of people going to water the Buddha statue. A parade was set up. In the procession there are beautiful women in traditional Mon costumes.
