Bangkok, THAILAND – Feb 13 , 2021 : Chinese opera was New Normal style, “Chinese opera” is an ancient performing art that is hard to find today and fades over time as the audience is mostly elderly. Moreover, during the COVID-19 epidemic this unique show disappeared in today’s society. But Sai Yong Hong Troupe did not give up. They opened the show in LHONG 1919 during the Chinese New Year. “Chinese Opera”, an ancient dance that has been with Thai society for hundreds of years. It is a performance art that combines singing with the actor’s style to come out into a story. The stories presented will be stories of history or stories of important people such as the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Bao Zheng or folk novels.
